Cool vibe.. Enjoyed the intro and the way it builds. Nice full sound and layering. There's a good amount of melodic content throughout, which I enjoy. My only criticism is of personal taste: there is one tone that alternates between two phrases which gets way too overplayed. After awhile it goes on too much for me and ends up masking all the cool and interesting rhythmic stuff you've built up as the track progresses. Also, I'd like to hear more diverse sounds. Thanks for sharing!

My pleasure. And yeah sorry for the repetitive melody, hope it didn't torture your ears to much, still figuring out what i wanna do with it, gotta get my neighbor bobby to come down here with some keyboards and hash it out. I'll post up the finished track for you guys when I'm done.

i dont think anyone felt tortured by the melody lol…

i think you will realize that there are a lot of intelligent producers between here and Mindoutpsyde who are going to share honest, constructive criticism with each other, so that everyone is always helping everyone else to get better at producing. i look forward to seeing you get better and better with your music man, and damn you are off to a good start so keep up the great work!

It's hard to tell for sure with my headphones I'm listening to this on, but I think your bass could benefit from some side chaining to the kick or just light compression, it just feels a bit loose.

I'd turn the lead down on the break, it drowns out the voice sample. It sounds good throughout most of the track, very interesting sound, but I do think it gets kinda old after a few minutes (starting around 3:30). I'd say either don't have the lead playing during the break (use a pad maybe), or bring in another lead for a phrase after the break to break up the lead. Another short 2-4 bar break without the lead playing sometime towards the end of the track would help keep it interesting too.

I would do more with your percussion too, it's pretty quiet. You can keep it at that volume if you want, but adding in something other than an open hh would add more variety to the track.

Lots of good ideas in this track, keep it up!
